Prayer for Japan

On behalf of our Pastor Bishop George D. McKinney and First Lady Barbara McKinney,

We urge the whole body of the church to keep our Brothers and Sisters in Japan who are suffering the devastation, disaster, and pain, as a result of the tremendous earthquake, and subsequent tsunami, in prayer.  We ask that everyone gather their friends and family over the phone and in person and begin to offer our petitions of love and protection to the people of Japan who are now suffering the death and disappearance of their loved ones.  We pray that God in His infinite wisdom would comfort the broken hearted and heal the wounded spirits and encourage those who have lost all hope.  Finally, let us continue to pray for peace in our troubled nation and peace in our troubled world.  Finally, let us reflect on John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Saints let us always remember the God is in control, let us trust him for a miracle.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor George A. McKinney
